Yeah, some pics look washed out, while others look like the color is good. Though that rolled top edge is gonna keep the price down. At least it would for me if I were shopping for sealed kits for display.

I know the mammoth and cwoman were definitely european versions. Not sure about the armored. Though the instruction sheet looks a little different.

Yeah, armored definitely looks European - all the UK kits I've seen have come in those bags.
Those prices at least seem a little grounded, especially for the Mammoth - that may be the cheapest I've seen an unmade one go for. By the way, the purchaser is the same guy who was driving up the prices on the other auctions, so he probably was prepared to go a lot higher if you got into a war with him.

...in fact, if you look at the bid history for the Mammoth, he actually placed 2 even higher bids on the item that never applied -- he wanted it bad enough that even after he was high bidder, he put in not one, but 2, more bids at higher prices -- I wouldn't be surprised if he went as high as $350+, since he was involved in both recent Mammoth bidding wars and those kits went for $370 and $400+

Pretty good box. Bot not mint as the seller states. Colors are nice. And yeah, he does mention the problem with the top flap. Which is actually pretty bad, as there are actual creases there. Not to mention the rolling of the front panel there. Also looks like a bit of a problem on the bottom along the one edge. The vertical edges are not crisp and straight either.
I swear, if I ever get money to go shopping for sealed kits, sellers are gonna hate me. Because if I lay out money for a mint sealed kit, it better be mint.
The cave he is selling is a little better, but it is also buckling and bowing in several areas.

I know how you feel Trevor - for the prices these are going for lately it better look like it just rolled off Auruora's assembly line just prior to going into the shipping case! Sometimes I wish sellers would just say "Look at the pics and judge the condition for yourself rather than tell you their opinion of the condition. Plus if its a really nice kit take plenty of good clear pictures too! Steve

I will give the seller credit for that. There are a good number of pics and they are clear and large enough to see the condition and judge it for yourself.

The Cave is a pretty common kit, and there have been a lot of complete, unmade Swamp kits listed in the past 6 months - so they really shouldn't go for more than $150-$200, but since it's the same seller as the last set of crazy kits, and given the fact that, by my tracking, the guy who has been buying these kits for high prices does not yet have either of them, they may go for up to $100 more each, I'd say. But I don't think he'll find a dance partner to go that high this time.
My guesses: Cave: $182; Swamp $221

Actually misread the bidding history - not the same bidder as the previous auctions, and I don't recognize them - so if they're motivated competitors, prices could definitely get higher.
For personal reasons, I just hope the Cave price gets higher than $175, as that's what I paid for a nice sealed kit as one of my first purchases -- only to subsequently realize how much less I could have gotten one for if I was patient (I later got a 2nd edition kit that was sealed and in perfect shape for under $100 - admittedly, the box art is cooler on the 71 version because of the Allosaurus)

My guesses: Cave: $182; Swamp $221 $350 each. Yow. Once again, at least these guys make me feel frugal!
