Wish I could display mine in the living room.
Love the colors on the spiked.
And really like the grass effect and color on the tar pit.
Almost verges on cartoonish, but not quite. Very vivid and looks good with the rest of the colors used on the kit.

I am fortunate to have an understanding wife and we both have eclectic taste, so it fits in ok with the deco and other collectables ! The tar pit was the first Aurora kit I got when I was about 6. It was painted by me in gloss enamal paints about 35 years ago. I stipped of the paint and repainted this one about 10 years ago , the first one I did, and I am still happy with it today.  |

Your Aurora site is great and I have visited in many times.
I am no PC wizard and am amazed that I actually got these pics posted here, with resizing etc.
I will photograph all of my kits and post them in the near future, but had some focus issues with some other pics and did not post.
This was due to me only having a regular compact digital camera.

The great thing about digital though, is you can shoot a ton of pics and it doesn't cost you anything. That is how I get my 'good' shots. You take enough of them, and some are bound to turn out ok  |

Picked up a complete Sail Back this week, it arrived in the post today safe and sound. So I am very happy, now have the complete set. Just him to build and paint |

The Swamp ! Had to make a head for the flying lizard, the original was lost in the carpet during original contstruction 30 years ago! The pool is not fixed to the base, so can be joined up with the other bases. G  |
