I can't wait.
I think I will paint it like the Zallinger print.
I'm looking forward to the bases as well.

I think I would pass on the Mosasaur - don't care for the amount of water - just my personal taste though. Steve

Steve Are you talking about the mosasaur, popping up, in still water similar to the Tar Pit, with maybe a little splashing around him, would that be it? A few years ago, Larry Johnson of Action Hobbies and I were going to collaborate in doing a Mosasaur and an Elasmosaur both popping up out of the water fighting over a failry large squid. They would have been on separate bases but fit together to make up this scenerio. Maybe It could still be done with the Alchemy ELASMO and the new Mosasaur.

NEW BASES - TAY666 started a new thread on this. I think it's called new bases. There is a painted version there now and I'll be adding more to it around Oct 20th 2012

Yee-Ha on the plate. I ordered mine the day it came out and planned to paint it like the Zallinger painting. I used to read a dinosaur book every night at bedtime when I was a kid full of Zalinger paintings. Fond memories. I think there is an interesting color version of Plateo in the Walking With Dinosaurs series. Gonna have to go back and watch it. Might have to buy 2.

I usually just send Mike money through PayPal and write in the "description"......just ordered mine tonight! His website can be a little, behind for ordering. I still don't think it lists the Zuni or the Spino for an option................

My first attempt at painting the Plateosaurus in the style of the Zallinger painting. I only had 1 day to do it, and I'm not 100% happy with it. I'm still getting used to my new airbrush and the ribbed skin texture was not working will with my usual dry-brush technique.
