I was informed last night that the "mystery" kit will start this weekend. The armature will be built and then off to the races. Hoping that it should be ready for casting by Jan.

It's January......how's it goin'? Oh....and Happy New Year! By the way, did you happen to get a cast of those alternative Mammoth legs. Trevor has informed me that Al @ Python has been recovering from a stroke, would not want to bother him now - but he should be in all our prayers for a return to health - anyways, so I'm (constantly) bothering you.......

i got the extra parts just prior to Al's stroke. still got them sitting in their plastic bag they got shipped in.
About the mystery kit, haven't heard a word. Been trying to call but no success. I'll keep trying 'cause i'm curious too. also been sick for over two weeks and it's not fun. Can't wait for the warmer weather. i'm not a cold weather fan! Yuck

Might have ran into a snag with the "Mystery" kit. I don't have clear info to pass on but it doesn't sound promising at the moment.  More to come....... |

The sculpt is coming along fine. Looks like it'll be produced but we kinda ran into a major hiccup. A big change coming. I'll announce that at another time. Now is not that time.

I announced the "mystery" kit on FB earlier today. So, without further ado, here it is...
MOSCHOPS!
This is a beast that is rare to find a sculpt of, not a very popular subject but what a great kit it would be in Aurora style.

No pics as of yet so not really quite sure. All Matt told me was he is a "fat" little critter. (Being an Aurora what-if, I'll take that as a compliment!  ) I would expect something by this next week. Matt has a huge sculpt to get on to next so this "fat" boy needs to be done soon. Matt is hoping by the end of the month. We shall see! |
