A big, sad milestone for guys like me who couldn't get enough of his creatures. I don't doubt a lot of the inspiration for the dinosaur model craze came from Ray. Besides dinos, he animated giant birds, saber-tooth tigers, cephalopods, snakes, ice-age beasts and of course, their human adversaries and victims. I was lucky enough to meet him a few years ago. I built my Aurora dinosaurs with him in mind. Attachments:

As a Kid he was the dinosaur man. 1000 000 Years BC and Valley of the Gwangi were the things that inspired my playtimes. A sad day for us all.

So much of Aurora Prehistoric Scenes was inspired by those 2 movies. He was a true titan whose movies will live on forever.
