Here he is with the other tail. (Looks like I need to paint the ball that fits in the socket a darker color?!)

I kinda like the first tail with the spikes better. Pretty cool you have both choices though and are able to interchange them if you want. Got a base idea for it lined up yet?

Thanks. Yep, I have a base in mind but since this is a bigger kit than what I had expected, gotta redraw it out. Right now, I have a kitbash going on that came to me in the mail. (The kit not the idea.) I'll post some WIP shots in another thread.

Thanks Scott. Okay I haven't done much with the base since I finished the Glypto. I have, however, did a little bit of cutting on the base for a specific area I want to place him. I have a scroll saw that I thought might work so what the heck, let's use it and see what it does. The blade on it was for wood only but I thought it might work for resin since it's fairly soft. (Plus I have tons more blades.) There was a small area that needed to be cut off so that is where I tested its cutting ability. WOW, after I cut it, it had a beautifully smooth edge. The only sanding that needs to be done was to round off the sharp edges. Other than that, it was very smooth and practically perfect. Now I've got to finish up the base so its completed.......Wonder how it will cut epoxy and hardened sculpey? Guess we'll soon find out.
