Hmm. That's interesting. Didn't even realize that there were variations in the boxes. Then again, I haven't really looked at them either. And I don't run across too many on ebay, as I haven't been searching for them.

Missed out on a large lot of these too. $160 for 9 kits. OUCH! My fear was that none of them were complete. They looked good but he didn't have too much info about them and I barely caught sight of these with less than 20 minutes to go. Didn't figure there was enough time to answer my question. Good luck to whom ever got them. www.ebay.com/itm/271444075511?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Wasn't me. I watched that auction for days hoping it would stay reasonably priced. That went out the window with a couple hours yet to go.
Some were complete, some weren't. At least that was what I could determine from the photos.

Hi everyone. I'm new here but I had an extensive collection of dinosaur models as a kid and a good recollection of their specifics. I can confirm that Bandai offered both motorized and non-motorized versions of the same dinosaurs. I distinctly remember thinking how the legs did not look very good in the enormous leg openings on the bodies of the non-motorized versions. The Bandai dinosaurs also had really odd expressions on their faces. Bandai also offered a series of giant insect models, which were really cool in motorized form.

Yeah. Now that you mention it, most of the Bandai dinos seem to be frowning.

I should clarify my earlier message. The legs didn't look very good in the enormous openings on both the motorized and non-motorized versions, but at least the motorized versions had a reasonable explanation for the enormous openings. The non-motorized versions didn't look right AND didn't do anything interesting AND had odd expressions, so they were really unappealing.

Did you see the 4 Kresge's kits that ended a couple days ago on eBay? All 4 were still sealed and had Kresge's sales sticker on fronts. I watched them for a while but didn't have any spare cash to do any bidding. I don't remember what they ended up selling for - I deleted them before they ended. Steve

They all went in the 30's + postage. That is kind of what inspired the update. I snagged the pics from the auction, which spurred me to get them taken care off, along with pics I already had waiting. Then I forced myself to do the web work to get them online. I've got sooooooo much stuff just sitting here on my hard drives waiting to be dealt with. I would probably need a full 2 weeks of nothing but updating to get caught up.
