How will the new kits be placed? I know there are aftermarket kits that vie for the same area. Will your kits fit in the Aurora map easily? Thanks, Jim

Mark tells me that Scott will soon releas base kits that expand the whole layout. As far as Prehistorix goes, the tiger will probably go behind the cave somewhere but it doesn't have a base as such, just a rock so it can be anywhere on the edges or on any of the flat bases. The hunting ground is a substitute for Allosaurus base which some people don't have. It can be rotated and fitted on the Allosaurus base if you have one already the proposed Carboniferous swamp and Baryonyx they will go on to the sail back base pool end and strike out. Other than a proposed Icthyosaur that has never been released, that area is pretty free. The coleacanth fits on the outside of the flying reptile kit and doesn't get in the way of any of the original kits. The other things to remember about add-on bases are......
You can swap em around if you like and treat yourself to a change once in a while if they do take up the same spaces.
Not everyone has all the add ons so it won't matter to a lot of people.
You can start a new layout and have two sets at once if you like!
You can have the add ons as stand alones
You can make your own connectors if wish to putthem anywhere you like.
If you check out the Prehistorix Website it will have more information on our intentions over the next week or so.

Got mine and LOVE IT. Was real excited when Steve went to work on it. Also like that Scott has in mind to do some stuff for the Paleo-Bison/ Atlantis conversion, (ref. Jurassic Arts 2015 Layout) since I was crazy enough to nab one...thinking now, I got a couple of saber-tooths that are going to make his life miserable! jurassicarts.com/?page_id=158
