That Icthy is UNBELIEVABLE! well done! So well done!
The thing I have an issue with is the stylization of this ...Aurora (or whatever, sorry guys) kits from the 70's As I write this, I'm tanked from 10% 1L of beer, and watching original 70's Land of the Lost - what strikes me is the INCREDIBLE congruency (sorry for the vocab, it's thanx to the 10% beer-at least I don't become ornery. Like my idiot father.) between the Aurora TRex and Grumpy! Also, the tree from the Styracosaurus kit looks IDENTICAL to one on the set of episode 3 season 1 (Dopey). Well I don't mind one bit - so long as young ones are made to understand these kits are a stylization. I like your Icthosaur art! That being said, every artist makes their own stylization, don't they? Check Scientific American's book of Dinosaurs ISBN 0-312-26226-4. (There's an excellent treatment in the article "Restoring the Life Appearance of Dinosaurs") So long as we have a restoration that is as accurate as possible, and we remind the children of this,...full speed ahead Aurora style!

Wait.....is the Ichthy a go!?! Please still keep me on the list! Got the old series Aurora Trike and Pteranodon to try and work some of Alchemy Mike's head replacements on. First glance, the Pteranodon might work nicely for as an alternative....the Trike might be a tad small. I also like the bases included, might work nicely on the add-ons. Has anyone played with the T-Rex from this series? Wondering how it might work with the Allosaurus replacement heads.......

What Andy is doing with his is different than ours. The Ichthy we're doing is still a go but going very slowly. I have the Mossy coming out this Month and the Neanderthal Woman next spring. Maybe the Ichthy will be right after that?! I still like what Andy is doing with his though. I'm intrigued with it and wanting to know where he's at with it right now! I also want that Coelocanth!
