;D I happen to have all the diorama kits and additional figures, as well as the older Stegosaurus which I hope to squeeze into the picture. Ideally, I am looking for the three addional bases that will go with Brachiosaurus base to make a second complete diorama using the Stego, the raptor kit, and the Mesozoic creatures kit. May have to bite the bullet and buy the other tree kits again.......
Will admit, absolutely love the detailing of these kits (you can even make out the poophole on the T-Tex)....and (as I asked in another post) would like to add the Kaiyodo 1/35th's if they are of similar quality.
Also found a 1/35th pteranodon on e-Bay some years ago that's seems to be made of a slightly funky plastic and looks suspiciously like the PS Pteranodon when completed......the feet are the same. Need to post you all photo of it real soon.

Tamiya came also out with this set Mesozoic Creatures They are not scaled at 1/35 but smaller they were for decorating you diorama the Trex is small and the parsaurolopus to the others you can use in this very nice and wel done diorama dino's Nope, they ARE scaled at 1/35! The para and T-rex in this set are babies for the adults.

This week I picked up 6 of the 7 diorama kits, along with the Stegosaurus - I just need the T-rex diorama kit - have no interest in the stand-alone T-rex or Triceratops, as they seem like pretty bad models.
I'm impressed with the diorama kits though - obviously one-third the scale of the Prehistoric Scenes kits, but they're clearly heavily inspired by Aurora's series - right down to the nameplates and the bases that can be linked together. I also love the fact that each kit comes with assorted additional wildlife to flesh out the scene, much like several of the Aurora kits - the plastic pool with fish is particularly cool. It's also great to have a giant sauropod in a scene with other scale creatures.
Since I've always liked the diorama aspects of the Prehistoric Scenes kits, these Tamiya models hit a similar sweet spot. It's a shame the series is finished and seems to be abandoned now.

I've toyed with the idea of acquiring the other bases that are required to make a diorama of (4), and incorporating them to set-up the velocirapters, Mesozoic creatures, and the older Stegosaurus kit. Once thought about checking out Kaiyodo's 1/35, but I can not find good pictures to see how the detailing is in comparison to the Tamiya, which I find are excellent! And any listing is quite a lot to take a gamble on. Also thought about trying some of Alchemy's 1/35 scale critters...........
Any lead on where to get Tamiya parts (bases) for this series, or insight into Kaiyodo would be appreciated!

The kits are still widely available at online hobby shops, like megahobby and cultTV. I also really like the Tamiya kits - they're easily the best "realistic" styrene dinosaur kits.

Oh, I was just gonna suggest to you about Megahobby - they have the T-Rex for under $30. I bit the bullet today and ordered some additional kits to complete a diorama with the Brachiosaurus. Hurt my back real bad the other day - Doc gave me some stuff that's not helping much with the pain, but had me a'thinkin' and a sketchin' a 26" x 36" layout to do them all on.
Should of hid my credit card, too.
Also been toying with the idea of converting another Stego into a Kentrosaurus. Haven't really decided yet, but think an old Airfix, or newer Jurassic Park (not Lindburg) might be the closest in scale, detail, and affordability. Probably should keep it all Tamiya and get another one of those kits, but I was hoping to get a slightly different pose with a different kit. Any input .........?

I may have acquired a Rex diorama on E bay for a super knock down price. In Uk shops, other than the Brach and the Chasmosaurus, only the older series are available. I'm really looking forward to building it. It seems the plant life fronds are cut from printed fabric. Not sure how easy that will be!
