The base for the cave bear fits right in with the base of the cave. And there is a piece of the cave wall that comes with the cave bear kit.

Depends on what you mean by complete cave Basically, what you get in the cave kit, will make The Cave. But if you want to make a Cave that is completly closed, then you need 2 cave kits + the 1 wall piece from the Cave Bear. You need 7 wall pieces to go all the way around, as the 3 wall pieces that come with the cave don't quit reach the edges of the base. So, 6 wall pieces aren't enough to go all the way around 2 bases.

Oh, you need a base. I know Chinxy is working on one to go with the armored dino base he has been selling.

Yay! I just won a couple kits on ebay. 79 Monogram versions of the Spiked and Mammoth. They appear to still be sealed, which is what I am looking for right now.

Only if it is dirt cheap, or something rare. That's about the only time I am bidding.
Oh, if it has a really nice box and is reasonably priced, I might bid. Upgrade my collection and get my money back by reselling the kit itself.

Actually, for me, that was a lot of the fun back when I first started re-collecting these kits. The thrill of the hunt. Yeah, it was a big bummer when I lost, but man, it felt so good when I scored something cheap!
