Here's the Protoceratops from Primeval Plastics. This was a very successful kit as far as add-ons and resin kits go. This one was a concept I've had in my mind for several years and finally got the chance to put it into a physical body. Chris Lynch is the Sculptor of this little kit. Molds are shot and no future plans are to redo this kit. However, who's to say it'll never be cast again?! Hollow cast in 14 Orange (sometimes Pink) resin pieces to give it that Aurora "styrene" feel. Comments welcome! (Baby not shown!) Oops, I failed to mention that. On the first 30 or so, they were white and were cast and molded by Alchemy Works. It wasn't 'til later that they were hollow cast (from the original molds) in Orange/Pink by Randy of L'il Monsters!

I placed a poll up to see if anybody is interested in the reissue of the Protoceratops. This kit by far has been the most popular of my kits. I still get questions concerning this kit. So, I have decided to talk to my caster, Randy, to see what it would take to reissue the kit in ORANGE again under my new company name (Which will be revealed at the time of the Moschops release.)! Just waiting his reply and your answer! ;D

Well I've got word back that he'd be happy to do it. It would need remolding, a bit of reworking some areas and he wants to make it look a little more like a styrene kit by making it a bit more "shiny". I'll let the poll continue to run it's coarse though.

I'd take another one.
Had a blast with the first one, and would have fun painting another.
If it would save any cost, I'd be fine with it not having the baby.

If it would save any cost, I'd be fine with it not having the baby. Actually it wouldn't. I asked the same question. It's a bundled deal. So, I guess you could toss it, use it as a pet for the cave dwellers, or use it as a meal for the Raptor! ;D |

I have one, and it is a superb piece. With the other kits coming out, I would have to pass on a second one, although I would get another one in a heart beat.
Gotta make sure I don't miss out on other releases.
I also buy SciFi and Monster kits, so I have other kits out there to invest in.

It's still going to happen, just not sure when. I wanted to sell out of the Moschops first before moving on to the Proto release. still have a few of those left to get rid of. I'll give it to about March-April. At least by then we should be good to go. My caster Randy is ready to go...I just have to give him the word. This also gives time for the Instructions to be updated to the new Company name!  |

After a communication black out, I have finally received word that the Protoceratops will be reissued soon. I have inquired of the completion date so I'm hoping that July 2014 will be the reissue time. Randy will refurbish the kit and give it a glossy like luster to give it a more "styrene" look. Again it'll be cast in "ORANGE" with Brand New Molding too! I had a list going but since lost it on my last computer. So, I would like to confirm and inquire of all that would like a copy of the new reissue. Please only reply requests back that are committed and are wanting a kit. Let me know ASAP so I can get in the order. I will need at least 10 committed to make this happen. I just heard that the molding of the Proto is a success, thanks to the cooling down of the weather, and now they're being cast. Soon....very, very soon!
