Gamera's - update.
Sailback 98% comp.
Got a friend and fellow PS fan coming over in a few weeks with Digital SLR. So will post pics of completed layout !
Repositioned Allosaurous is now bined! The repositioning was great, but then tried to strip the badly adhered brush applied blue primer. The solvent used was too strong and ate into the plastic.
I have kept the head, so will have another go later.
Also have some old pyro kits stripping at the monent ( in the correct stuff this time) so may paint these up next.
Regards G

On the bench right now is an wild hair idea I had to create my own Neanderthal Woman out of extra body parts lying about and magic sculpt. Started throwing things together tonight but not near completion. Unfortunately I'm outta Magic sculpt so have to wait for the new batch to arrive to finish her.
Also, been working on the Horizon Bronto and converting it to a PS style and get both forelimbs detatched from the body and making them like the Trike legs where they stick out away from the body. The Back legs will be next. looking good so far. I'm taking pics of the progress but won't post until finished.
Next on the list will be a redo on the Aurora creature kit. Got a new head for the kit from MMR and it sure looks fantastic. Can't wait to pop the new head on!
That's about it for now.

Warmer weather coming, and with temps higher and humidity lower, I can airbrush again. The next one up is Cro-Magnon Woman. I had painted a version completely by hand in the 90s. After tidying the seams and such, I mixed up a base shade made with copper, orange, and white, figuring that will help add natural tones to the next coat which comes closer to human flesh. DRAT! In an effort to keep the skintones from resembling those of a Barbie doll, I muted the pink with too much olive. Now she looks she came from a mud tribe. Gotta remove the paint and start over! Attachments:

I hate when that happens. I only have 2 kits in my collection that I honestly want to go back an re-do. One of them is my Conan www.tylisaari.com/models/conan/thor/thor.htmAnd it's because I really messed up the skin tones. Muddied them up way too much.
