Wow! That is the best non-reposed mammoth I have seen. ( Kurt's is still the overall best though) Kind of glad mine isn't done now, as I want to borrow some of his ideas for mine. Like the belly hair, and the bottoms of the feet. Thanks for showing us that link!

I agree....I like Kurt's Mammoth too! This is a great example no doubt about it. the time spent covering every nook and cranny and making sure the hair blends perfectly. Thougfh, it would have been cool to see Mike/Jeff's conversion head with some of the after-market legs thrown in just for another dimension?!

Whoa, I hadn't seen Kurt's stuff yet. Amazing! I'm actually not that smitten with the Mammoth and its larger shape, but I'm completely blown away by the other conversions on the page. Love the reuse of different parts from other kits.

Great link, great result. I'm eventually going to finish puttying and carving fur onto a 'box art' mammoth kitbash, and so far it has taken tubes and tubes of Squadron Green putty.
I like the way this guy says' with an old tree I found in a box' - I wonder if he's realised yet that it's the Mammoth kit tree part!
