Has anybody got the Alchemy's Polacanthus conversion kit?
I recieved one the other day and sloooooowly trying to piece it together. I haven't seen any build ups of it yet other than what Mike has on his website. I'm gluing everything and like usual, no putty work on it. Sorry, but that's the why I like it... uh huh! ;D
i'll post some pics as soon as I can.

I do have the kit, but it is set aside for future work, but intial review of it, I was rather pleased! I also have Alchemy's glyptodont which uses a variation of the anklyosaurus lower body (it's been "furred"), and have progressed on it. It too, fits very well, with limited putty- work, with the exception of the head and tail onto the body, depending on how you assembly the final pose. Very heavy for a little guy......... Couldn't decide which version to do, so I came up with a second kit rather inexpensively on e-Bay. Hope to "mate" both versions to your (future) glyptodont/ doedicurus kits. Would like to see the doedicurus for sure, so I can acquire a nameplate (ha)!

Hoping to jump back on this soon. Haven't done any modeling or painting for awhile. I'm afraid I'm gonna loose the "Funk"!!! Anybody got theirs done yet?

Hell Steve. I haven't touched a kit since June, other than to move them around.

Looks like tomorrow will be a great day. The kids are ALL at their Grandmothers while the wife and I have the weekend alone. It's our 21st anniversary and we're spending it doing things we normally don't get to do much of anymore. Soooo, she wants to do her crafts and I want to paint a model so I chose to paint, or attempt to paint, this kit. We'll see how far I get. Hoping to get it very close to finish. It's all primed and ready so it shouldn't take very long. Wish me luck!

Took me a while but got a pic up of the pola so far. This is a 2 week old pic but a pic non the less. Right now he has all the spikes and scutes painted the tan. Hoping to get some more time to do a few washes and dry brushing. Then, to do the base.
