Just scored a Revell T-Rex off ebay for $20.50 that included free shipping!!!! Got it today - box is rough but model is complete, unbuilt and unpainted. Has nameplate and instruction sheet too. Got all 4 now - original, Monogram issue, Revell issue and Atlantis issue. I'm a happy camper!!!!!

There have been a bunch of great deals on the reissued Rexes, I guess because the Atlantis repop has saturated the market. I even thought of putting a bid on that kit, since it was so cheap, but I already have it too (and a Monogram, and an Atlantis, and an original - 4 as well, but none built). Also that dude only delivered within the U.S., so he deserved to get a crappy price, heh - better in your hands! |

I was surprised when my bid won it - I already had a Monogram reissue but for that price you cant beat it!
I wish my Aurora T-Rex was in the box but at least I have one - has a little paint on it but not too bad.

Definitely - if nothing else, it's an extra chance to experiment on a build. My Aurora T-Rex isn't perfect either - missing the backdrop, and was built (and played with), but otherwise in good shape. Here's a x-mas shot  |

Going through old threads trying to find something, and realized I never commented on this.
How cool that you have a pic of your original kit under the tree.
I really need to get to my mom's and go through all the old photos and see what there is of me and model kits.
