Cro-Magnon Woman was my first female kit, and probably was for hundreds of kit-builders. Female plastic kits were pretty rare. Aurora had other offerings, but Cro-Magnon Woman was almost Mattel's Barbie in animal skins.
I never got a chance to paint her the first time around. Two decades afterward, I rediscovered Cro-Magnon Woman and fixed her up as I never had the chance to do.
This model is from 1990. Acrylics over enamel. Failed to center the eyes. Tiny dabs of thinned paint applied under a hot lamp built up the shadows. I didn't want her too clean.
Recently, I acquired three more CM Women, and I'm trying a different paint scheme on each.

A yellow lamp affected the overall tone. Digital photos, all.

Without the yellow lamp. Comes across a little better.

Yellow lamplight. A little more clarity, but I prefer the white flourscent and no flash.
