Hi All
Just a brief introduction,Just your typical 50 year old male going through a mid life crisis,and trying to connect with my younger 12 year old self who loved the original set of models,as a life long David Bowie fan,I find it a bit disconcerting that I remember going into "Woollies" and having to decide whether to buy "Aladdin Sane" or the Triceratops!
And saving up £7.22. for the T-Rex kit!

Welcome Andy,
I remember buying the T-Rex kit for my birthday, I was maybe 6, with all my birthday money for about £7.00.
My mum thought that it was a waste of money!
Shame I did not keep the box.
Fortunatly I still had the complete kit, which I re built last year.
See my posts on this site.
My dad had to carry it home from the model shop, as was a bit big for me!

Thanks for the welcome all! When I think of all those wonderful kits i had,that more than likely,ended up a landfill,I could weep ;D
Managed to get a couple of oldies of E-Bay Dimetrodon,Flying reptile and my favourite one,The Swamp,and then picked up a few Dawn of Time jobs to flesh out the ranks.
Having a real blast doing them again!
