Thanks. Almost got the Dead Man's Raft from the same seller, but got outbid. It still went cheap, and if I hadn't spent the money on these 2, I would have gone a bit higher.

That Armored Dino is a great score! Low price for an original, two-piece base builtup. Congrats!

Thanks. Oddly enough, I am actually more excited about the sailback. Maybe because I have handled so many armored dinos over the years. They don't hold that much excitement for me anymore. I have owned a lot less original sailbacks. I think I could count the complete (or almost complete) unpainted ones on one hand. And never for this cheap. I've done much better on armored in the past. But that was back when you could find a lot more for cheap.

Turns out my great score isn't quite as good as I first thought. Still not a bad deal, but not the grand-slam I believed it to be. Both kits are completely glued. Right down to being glued to the bases. Not one part moves. The auction descriptions don't lie, and are actually quite spot on. I just interpreted them differently than what was really meant. "This kit is built, but not painted" "There is no glue residue at all, a very clean build." When they say a snap kit is built, I don't assume it's glued. Especially when I see 'no glue' in the description. But it is correct. There is no glue residue. You can't see any glue at all, even though it is there.
Sometime after WF I'll probably see if I have any luck breaking the glue joints without breaking the kits. Still happy though The sailback base is beautiful. All the green parts are there, right down to the antennae on the dragonfly.
