I'm trying something a little bit different here. Awhile back, there was a few people commenting about the Horizon Bronto (apatosaurus) and the perfect size it was for a PS styled add-on. I was hesitant to jump because, YES! I'm afraid of vinyl kits! Never done one and the thought of screwing it up weighed fairly heavy on me. Now I purchased a Horizon Bronto from a fellow modeler sometime back, I decided to proceed with caution, yet enthusiasm, to conquer that blasted vinyl kit. So, Saturday I sat down to figure out what I wanted to do to change it up to make it more bulky. It'll be a long process, drawn out for several months, to convert it from the skinny Apato to the Bulky Bronto. A lot of filling, altering and puttying on my part. Now, here's the reason it is in this category: I sent away (today in fact) the upper neck/head to get the head bulked out and made more PS-ish. When I get it back, I'll show you pics of it and I want you to give me your HONEST opinion. In doing so, I'll be looking to see if anybody would be interested in a copy of it for their Bronto kit. This was intentionally just for my personal kit but I'll offer it up as a "conversion" for anybody wanting one too!

NICE! Reminds me of that sailor-chomping Bronto from the original KING KONG.

Thanks guys! I think this actually makes the model look a whole lot better than it originally did. I finally got my shipment of putty in so now it's back to work on the front legs.

Ever think of casting it as a conversion kit? It is really nice.

Somehow I missed the first item posted. I'll buy the conversion when available.
