Aurora KING KONG

King Kong (any version) was a dinosaur fest, even though the titular characters was not. The 1930s introduction to Skull Island and its monster fauna featured loads of dinos.

Aurora produced a good-sized Kong for its series and this model has been reissued many times. The Anne Darrow figure clutched in his paw needs the most work.

Kong is just the right size to battle a customized Prehistoric Scenes Flying Reptile. I didn't attempt it.

Nice work.
Especially like the eyes.

For some reason, I have never been much of a Kong fan when it comes to kits.
Though, I guess I will be building a primate once Moebius releases their Kogar kit.
