I have made numerous attempts to paint the pair (just one here) of the Jurassic Park/Lost World model kit. Revell is the maker if I remember right. Far more accurate than the larger Jurassic Park raptor from Lindberg, and you get two. The tail is broken on the other raptor, so, he's on down time. I tried to do something to get away from the earth tones in the other raptor I painted by adding some pale green via airbrush. It didn't work out. He's due for another stripping and painting. Looks like a great start. Never actually seen one of these before. It does look a lot better than the Lingberg one.

Head detail. Here you can see Revell got the shape of Stan Winston's creation more closely. Keep the paint thin, or detail will be obscured. Attachments:

Good twisting pose. A better model than Lindberg's...and much easier to paint and assemble than Tamiya's troop of little velociraptors. Attachments:

Three-quarter view of raptor. The only drawback I can complain about is the poor fit of the forelegs. Some sanding and shaping should take care of the problem. Attachments:

The file is pretty clear. I only wish Revell had made more Lost World kits based on the dinos. Instead, they decided to release vehicle kits. Shame.
