Finished today...as the time on the digital camera will attest. I worked on this kit on and off for years. Who knows when I first bought the kit? 1990? Probably from a store that's no longer in business. Anyway. You get TWO figures in this kit--and they're both huge. YABBA-DABBA-DOO! Scale? Maybe 1/6th. I'll check later. Neanderthal in the flesh is a daulistic galoot. His big, clumsy feet are part of the base. The rest of his body is mostly a front-to-back arrangement with his left arm included. His hands (the right with a club) are separate. The skeleton is a basic, simplified jumble of bones whose feet aren't part of the base. After he's painted, his styrene metatarsals glue in place. Painting? Reddish brown skintones. Lots of simulated body hair by using not-quite-black paint airbrushed all over. Oyster-gray eyes with muddy irises and a dash of thinned red. Attachments:

Oh, very nice indeed! You really brought out the best of a rather roughly made kit. Really 'museum quality' work!
You've also at least doubled my desire to obtain this kit. :-)
