Not sure, but I hope to own it when that auction closes. I was guessing Canadian when I first looked at it. Mostly because the color. That just looked like the Canadian style, like the instruction sheets. Then I saw the seller is in Canada, so that really leads me to think that.
Doing some more guessing. I think this was late 71, early 72. I can't really read the text, but I can see that it lists the new kits for 72, but only pictures the first wave kits. So it could have been some kind of promotional material inserted in the kits to spur interest in the expanded line.

Saw that blue booklet too and thought, "Huh?!" I think Trev's right in that it was a non-American market promo booklet. The booklet itself seems to be a simple layout, sparse on text, and utilizing images from Aurora salesmen promo photos. Perhaps it wasn't in the kits but an early promo leaflet taht was sent/left behind by salesmen to buyers in Canadian/English-Speaking Market hobbyshops, variety store chains, etc?

Well, I got it. Cost a bit more than I had hoped. ($26) But I was willing to go higher for it.

Knowing my luck, now a bunch of them are going to start turning up, and they will be dirt cheap.

Of course I will post pics. Ones that you can actually read the printing on also.
That is what I do. Document as much of this stuff as I can.
The seller is going through his records to see if he can determine where he got it from.

Got it today. Bigger than I thought it was. When it is open, it is almost as big as the 74 map. Just as wide, but about 1/2" shorter in height.
