A discussion on the yahoo group got me to thinking about a long abandoned project I had thought of. Animated GIFs for each of the kits. I was going to shoot a series of pictures demonstrating how each of the parts moved, then put them together as animation. That image about was me testing out the process. Just kind of got too busy for it though. IF I remmber correctly, my ambitios desire was to shoot it walking, with it's head down. Then it would stop, look up, wag it's tail, then open it's mouth. Maybe some day. Anyone else try anything similar?

Back in '96 I did this little animation crushing our Prehistoric Buddy. Check out the program Claymation Studio tthe inexpensive edition does a lot of cool things and it' a breeze to do Stop Motion.

That is awesome. Would be even cooler if he was being squished under a dino foot.

Just crusin' around and came upon this discussion, which is a few months old, but anyway.... I made a super 8 stop motion film with the T-Rex, Styracosaurus and a G I Joe waaaayyyyyy back in the 1970's. It took a long time and gave me an appreciation of the time consuming work that stop motion takes. Unfortunately, I lent this 3 minute film to my drama teacher in High School and never saw it again.... months of work gone... just like that. T'was fun while it lasted though.

I'll upload an animation adventure my daughter and I made with action figures and PS dinosaurs later and post the link. But here is something, slightly off topic I did with green screen, aquarium plnats, stop motion and a rubber dinosaur. If you visit my You tube site there's also some stuff about T-Rex, fossils at Manchester Science museum and the original Crystal Palace Dinosaurs from the 1800s www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7medivVkr8&feature=c4-overview&list=UUUvcJnXgCf6YugpKfSyIrqg
