Just to pick up an e-bay related thread started by myself, Tay and Prescenes in the Airfix section about postage/shipping. The price of it!
Lots of sellers auctioning kits, look like they off-set losses by hiking up the postage to cover them. I bought a cro-mag and and Neander recently at a very low price. Problem was the shipping/postage on each item was more than the items sold for. I got each kit around £3.50 but was charged £8 postage on each one. They arrived in one box which cost about £5 to move. This is a sneaky way of edging your bets. Read the postage carefully, I didn't. I assumed each one was going to be around £4.00 or £6 for the two. No refund was given.

That's why eBay now charges the seller a percentage of the shipping fee. (#(%*#$@!!@@!!!!

Lots of UK PS activity at the moment.
Just got an almost complete cave (no sabre tooth skull) for under a tenner.
Also a Cave, tar pit and a cro mag for a lot bit more. This has a Dr Jeykll kit thrown in. I suppose I will re-list this unless anyone in the Uk is interested?

Yeah, some ok deals on UK eBay at the moment, which makes a change. Missed a few myself, keep forgetting to check, but a bit low on funds and probably have enough stuff to last me years anyway! Did pick up a reissue Creature from the Black Lagoon for £10 though. G

Andy its all yours. Postage and a £5 should offset my costs if you fancy it. I'll take some pics when it does, as it hasn't arrived yet. Sadly its partially assembled according to the blurb on the auction. It has both heads and the table looks good. No paint on it from what I can see. The box is good. My e-mail is voycestog@aol.com. Send me your e mail address and I'll send you pics when I have it in my hands.

Hasn't the price of the giant bird got silly! Not even that much of a popular kit at the time!

The price of the bird has always been on the high side. Mainly due to the number of small pieces that are generally missing.

It sold. To the same guy who already owns the instruction sheet artwork, and the boxart for the side panel that has the allosaurus.
