Well Andy. I did bid on it up to £15 but I just couldn't justify going higher. I scored a long box pyro Dimetrodon for seven quid and to me thats just a bit more exotic! LOL! I've emailed you about Jekyll by the way. Three weeks later I got the parcel. Send photos
Plus did a quick e-bay search and saw the swamp, box only $50. Just the box! An empty box! madness.

Its a superb kit and well worth it. I paid £50 for mine in the UK and its worth every penny. If I was in the US I'd take two. Just scored a JP velociraptor mint in box to complete my Lindberg JP set. I have it in the standard Lindberg box to be made up as well. Pity the Airfix kits have stopped being bargains

Nice score. I would have been interested if they would have been sealed. Still need a lot of the Revell-Germany kits sealed.

Tay they may be up again! I cancelled the transaction in the end. They messaged me saying they couldn't find the Pteranodon kit! They said I was welcome to the remaining four but they would want the same price! I have contacted e-bay. Sounds to me like they had a better offer and split off one of the kits. These kits can go for £35 each as a buy it now in the UK so I guess they were cheesed off at having to let them go so cheaply. I'm not happy. I've had some bad experiences with E bay lately.

Thanks Tay and Andy. I have reported him but theres no category for this on their automatic service so I'm not sure they'll understand what happened. The refund is still pending too! So he hasn't any money in his account to cover the refund yet. I am going up to ten on him in every way I can. I can't imagine a serious/genuine PS collector doing this to a fellow fan. He should have done his homework in the first place and put it on as a buy it now or as separates. He was clearly being greedy thinking he'd coin it in on an auction. I hope it never sells. His scores were good but if you read the comments there was some evidence of dodgy dealings. The scores are too interested in posting the form needs changing.
Good Kharma did come my way in the form of a JP Dilophosaurus. I bought it scrap for a few pounds because it said it was missing a front claw. I was going to sub them with a couple of dino-valley raptor arms When it came the part was in the box it had just broken off the tree. Otherwise mint. A bit of luck. From now on I am not buying anything more than £10 from E bay!

I read some of his feedbacks - sounds like someone to avoid for sure. The more I deal with Ebay the more losers I seem to find. I just sold a kit the other day to a guy - I stated it was missing parts. He said he didnt read that and demanded I cancel the transaction, sent me 3 rude emails before I had a chance to even contact him. It almost makes you not want to deal with ebay sometimes. Steve

I am a bit leery of Ebay since my run in a few years ago with a fellow who posted a Toy Biz Ghost Rider for fairly cheap. I received nothing that matched the photos. The auction showed every part and non was built or painted. What I received was parts painted, built and half of the pieces were missing. He accused me of painting and chucking the parts away so I could cash in and get a free kit. Ebay basically told me to send it back to him and he'd refund my money. So, I paid shipping twice and actually lost money and a kit I really wanted. What's the kicker in this too is that the guy placed a nice card that had the word "Honesty" on it! Go figure?! Fees are another thing that kills it for me. I basically have to rely on mouth to mouth or forums like this to sell stuff anymore. I feel for anyone that gets burned! Uncool. Very UN-COOL!

This is how trusting I am, or stupid, depending on your point of view. It never occurred to me to read his feedback. I assumed he was an honest guy cos' he was dealing with kits. I won't be making that mistake again. I almost feel like he's changed my life in a negative way. Irony is, if the bidding had gone to £55 I would have paid it. It was my cut off point. I'm not made of money, but I'd have just drank a bit less Scotch this month and driven more frugally. He hasn't even got the cash in his account to pay it back straight away, its still pending. y.
