Started working on another one of these. www.tylisaari.com/prehistoricscenes/mykits/myarm2.htmIt was built up, in that lot I bought a couple weeks ago. Most was glued, and what wasn't I went ahead and glued myself. Now it's primed and ready for paint. Will post pics as I progress on it.

Whatcha going to do with it? Is this for WF? Are you going to add the second part of the base and finish it? Huh Huh??? Whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll turn out wonderful.

What you see in the pic is what it will have. The plan is to get it painted in time for WF. Put it in the contest. Then sell it off afterwards.
Want to go with a lighter paint scheme this time around. Gonna try to get away from using browns on it.

Now I'm stuck It's really close, but I don't know what I should do next. It feels unfinished, but if I do too much, I will obscure some of the cool stuff I have already done. Gonna have to think about it for a while.

A great paint job and a purist build. I like it, it lets the kit do the talking. Have you ever built an Airfix Ankylosaurus? Now that's an ugly looking beast compared to this monster.

FUN-tastic build Trevor!
The Airfix Ankylo is a cool kit too. Been a while since I've seen or had that one. He is one of the many Airfix Dino's I need to re-aquire. The only kit I have never seen, other than in the ads, is the Pteranodon. Are there any out there?

Thanks. It was fun just doing a quick, no putty, job.

It's a nice change of pace sometimes to do a quick easy build - no pressure, just pure fun and enjoyment! Steve

Hi Pre-scenes2 - Until recently Airfix/Heller re-issued their dinosaurs in two boxed sets. TRex/Triceratops/ Steg and Bronto/Dimetrodon/ Pteranodon. They sadly discontinued them a couple of years ago. I think the Heller boxes found their way to the UK from France. I build most of them way back when they were first issued as individual kits. The one I never had and only see now and then in pictures is Corythosaurus. Good luck with finding some. I think they're pretty rare even on E Bay.

Much as I Love Dinosaurs, and as much as I love P.S kits, and as much as i don't give a toss about the Anklyosaurus,I really think they nailed it with the" Armoured Dinosaur" kit,one of my all time favourites, and a great couple of examples.
