ROUND 2 acquires Lindberg: Pyro dinos' new home?

Apologies for my absence over the last couple of months. I've had extra work and some other hobby concentrations lure me away. But anyway...

ROUND 2 announced a couple of days ago that they had acquired Lindberg's (and Hawk's) properties from J Lloyd Intl.

Of course, Lindberg had Pyro's (later Life Like's) dinosaur kits. So lets hope they'll have a good home and maybe some nice retro editions reissued... like the "World of" sets.

I often wonder if Lindberg ever had any marketing strategy? They had some decent exciting moulds yet they continued to release the awful brontosaurus when they had a decent Protoceratops and Dimetrodon to release but decided to discontinue. Lets hope that Round 2 research all the market possibilities and perhaps update the moulds to put some texture on their dino kits like Lindberg did with the Steg, add some decent bases and reinstate the retro cavemen. Boxing them up in a retro style like Moebius do would help sell them.

Trevor, is there a way we can get these scammers postings off of the forums? Looks like there is about 8 topics in this category that have these scammer postings.

I banned the IP and deleted the posts.
We'll see if they try to come back again.

Sadly, it happens every now and then, but not nearly as often as it used to.
