I actually thought about it (since I do have a link on my website)
But decided against it because unlike the rest of those, you don't actually offer any kits, or kit parts. You have some cool stuff, but no kits. Feel free to put that link in your signature, and in your profile though. So that way anyone who sees your posts will be able to find your site.

Thx- will do! I still dispute Dencomm's claim to trademark ownership though!

If you dispute it, then we have to get the Trademark into the proper hands ! ;o) I would love to own it, as would many other fans would, but it would cost some $$$'s of which I don't have. It just needs to go to someone WILLING to do something with it instead of sitting on it and "owning it"!

Found a 3-D printer link www.shapeways.com. Ordered a couple of small 1/12 critters for accenting some of the 'bare areas'(like there ARE some). Will give a quick review upon arrival.

Many thanks Tay. You will notice if you go to the page where it says original kits on the Prehistorix website, all you will find is a link taking people back to your site here. I hope you don't mind. It seemed silly to do otherwise. I also recomend that newcomers join the forum!

Wanted to thank the folks at Prehistorix for "linking in" Scott Bank's new site jurassicarts.com . This is really getting exciting again! Working up my own order now, can't wait to see the work in-hand!!!

Scotts stuff is excellent. Its great to see so much new stuff on offer. Not so long ago it looked like the add on scene had started to fizzle out. Mark and I will be positioning kits in conjunction with Scotts layout. In fact we love his stuff so much we have a big link to jurassic arts on the Prehistorix site. As he does for Prehistorix on his site.

Well, it did look as though things were about to end but congrats to you guys (Scott, Mark, Bill and others failing to come to mind...) for stepping up and moving forward. I haven't completely left the "scene" (lol) but things have definitely slowed down on Aroara's end. We still have the elusive Ichthyosaurus to be released at some point, Neanderthal Woman (or Women?!!!) and the nearly completed Pachycephalosaurus. Every one of these mentioned are by a different sculptor working on them at their on pace.

You know Pre-scenes, I used to stupidly think, why don't people just release their sculpts. Just cast em up and sling'em out. Thing is I soon realised just how long it takes to get one ready and get it right, then get it cast. It never is as easy as you first think. Everything moves at a snails pace. Getting the time when you have a family to clear the decks and sculpt is hard enough. Weekends get swallowed up, your job gets in the way. Its a learning curve and I'm lucky to be working alongside Mark who is the hardest working 'scener'I know. Even with both of us working flat out it still takes an age, especially when we send stuff back n forth by post. makes you proud when something does come out of it though!

Oh yeah. It definitely isn't a quick process. Casting is hard work that eats a lot of time as well. I've never actually done it, but I know enough people who have. And I have enough of an understanding about how it works to know what a pain it can be. Prepping everything, working the molds, pulling casts, it's all labor intensive. Doing that, after working a full time job makes for long days. And you really have to love what you are doing to be able to keep at it. It's one of the reasons I am never in a rush to get stuff. If it's going to happen, it will happen. And when it does, hopefully I have the cash available to grab it before it's gone.

I'm patient too- I have plenty of stuff to keep me busy. I have the same problem as Trevor - usually when something gets released I don't have the funds at the time. Luckily I have the money right now to get these cool bases!! Steve

Thought this might be a nice spot to say that I received "The Mesozoic Hunting Grounds"/ Prehistorix and some of the Swamp Extensions/ jurassicarts.com and I would like to express how great these are turning out and what a wonderful way to extend the series. While the major dino/ mammal add-on kits have been well appreciated, these bases definitely add new life and vision to the series. Many thanx to all of these creators/ casters for their talented work. Can't wait to add more! Take the time to click on their links (above) and see what they can do for your collection!

Just went on the Shapeways web site. Man oh Man there are all kinds of 1/12 scale animals that can go with all the jungle swamp extensions that are coming out. The possibilities are endless. I just wish the funds were endless as well.

Scotts stuff is excellent. Its great to see so much new stuff on offer. Not so long ago it looked like the add on scene had started to fizzle out. With all the tar pit and swamp extensions that are available it is just incredible. My hats off to all you guys that are making me happy with all this new stuff coming out. Keep up the good job, fellas. I'll keep buying and my wife will keep me in the doghouse!!
