Just read yesterday where Ray Meyers will be at WF this year. www.wonderfest.com/news.htm(for those that don't know, he sculpted some of the PS kits for Aurora) Thinking of taking some stuff to see if I can get some autographs. Looking for some opinions. Which would be cooler / better to have signed The underside of the bases, or back of the nameplates? My first thought was bases. But I started thinking, that nameplates would be easier to carry around. And probably easier to write on.

Armored, cave bear, neanderthal man, sabertooth, and tar pit. WOW! He worked on some of the first and last kits. And a change in style over time too. The Armored Dino seems simpler and less textured as the four earlier kits mentioned.

If it were me I would take the name plates and the bases and see if I couldn't get all of them signed

Wasn't planning any kind of formal interview. I was just going to ask a few questions whenever the opportunity arose.

Nah, name plates are too small - take the bases and a big fat Sharpie! GV

For those going to WF. Keep your eyes open. There just might be something there to interest PS fans.
And that is all I am going to say on the matter. I leave in less than 36 hours and don't even know if I will manage any more computer time between now and then.

Ok, I did get a chance to talk with Ray. Before the dealers room even opened actually. Not a long conversation, but it was a nice one none-the-less.
Didn't have time to have him sign anything, as I was pretty busy at the time. He did say that he only sculpted the Tar Pit and the Tiger. That's it. I know some I listed earlier in this thread are wrong anyway, as I have conflicting information depending on which books I check. But I will have to get with Thoimas Graham on a couple things and see what he has for reference on the subject.
