Don't worry. I'm taking lots of extra memory. Think I am going to have 40+ gigs of memory cards with me.

The display went very well. We only ended up having 6 tables so there wasn't a lot of add-on stuff But it looked good, and got a lot of interest. We were right across from Dencomm's table, so I got to spend a lot of time talking to Denis and Andy. Sorry, I never even thought about asking about the announced Dencomm PS kits. Spent the whole time either talking about stuff back in the Aurora days, or talking about Monster Scenes. When I get caught up, I will post more. I've got something like 70 pictures to go through and process just for the display. I would like to take a moment right now and thank all those that contributed to the display. Steve Cooke Rob Mattison Larry Johnson Tory Mucaro Dave Hodge (also a shout out to my daughter who won't see this, but she was a big help in set up and tear down)

I picked this out of Hobbytalk by Tory Mucaro. He answered the question generally that I think a lot of us were wondering about. So, let's look to next year and see where it sits then!

Yeah. I pretty much knew that PS won't happen until after the 2 MS kits. It only makes sense. Those 2 have a built in market, which will guarantee at least a certain amount of sales. The PS, not so much.
Though I will say this. Even though they were playing things close to the vest. I think there is a good chance the sabertooth may see a reissue from Atlantis eventually. Might not be this year, but they are still talking about the subject, so that tells me, they really want to find a way to make it work.

I finally got all the other WF pictures done, so now I can concentrate on the display pics. So, a bit more patients. Should only be a few more days now.

It was a race of time-traveling carnivorous plants from a Lovecraft story.
Rob made that kit years ago, originally with a base that would link both the PS and MS kits.

Nice video Trevor! Your pages on the show were great. I wish I had done something like this years ago or at least wrote down my memories of the show right after. Over the years you forget a lot of things or they blur over each other. Thanks! Steve

That is exactly why I do it. Otherwise, I wouldn't remember crap about what happened when.

I figured out the Yithian, currently produced by Action Hobbies...is this the infamous "Time Traveler" that Dave Cockburn had thought to introduce to the PS line. Is anyone thinking to add it to their collection? I'm toying with the idea, especially if Steve's Neanderthal Woman comes together.
I also noticed Al's alternative Mammoth Legs in the display. Is anyone producing them?

No, the time traveler that Aurora was considering was going to be human. The Yithian was just something that Rob Mattison sculpted and produced in 1/13 scale. He even got the ok from Dennis to use the PS stuff on the box he made for himself. Here is the thread about the kit from back in 2010 prehistoricscenes.proboards.com/thread/31/monster-model-review-great-raceThe mammoth legs are mine. Al still isn't back up and running yet. Actually, I haven't heard from him in quite a while now. I've dropped him a couple emails, but haven't gotten any responses.

I envy anyone who made it. These pictures just show how cool these kits are four decades on. Amazing.

Thank you for taking so many great photos.
I think it will happen again. Probably not for a few years, but I'm pretty sure it will happen.
