I guess I've been behind...sent an e-mail today! Should I be reviewing "ClubHouse" more? I thought this was (AND SHOULD BE) the site for updates.

I don't know if this is 'the' place or not.
I try to keep everyone updated. But where Mike announces his stuff is up to him.
He really isn't big on the whole internet forum thing.
I'm sure the only reason he posts at the Clubhouse, is because there is a large audience of people who like all his kits. He does a lot more than just the dinosaur stuff.

I'm really hoping enough people get on board. I'm very excited for this kit.
I'm willing to commit to two kits to help the casting.
Please send your email if you interested, and, no I don't get royalties or commission. I'm just a PS fan.

www.theclubhouse1.net/One of the larger hobby forums geared towards the genre enthusiasts. Mainly geared towards the garage kit guys, producers and sculptors. The dino forum there has guys mainly interested in the realistic garage kits. I get better responses on the PS stuff posting in the styrene forum than the dino forum. You can get a pretty good idea of what the members are interested in, by checking out the Model Museum www.theclubhouse1.net/museum/You can search, browse categories, or, my favorite just take a look at the latest build ups. www.theclubhouse1.net/museum/NEW.htm

One thing about the Clubhouse is they are not warm towards the PS! You usually get the same 3 guys commenting on a PS post.

Hi I'm new to this forum, I am now semi retired, and this last fall found an old suit case full of my old ps kits, I got so excited that I've started collecting more and I have emailed that I would like this swamp kit too. Also plan on staring my own kits.

Anyone have an update from Mike on the possibilities of this going forward? I don't think it'll happen. Mike has asked that if anybody is interested in purchasing his PS molds of the what if kits, to contact him. That doesn't sound like he'll be putting these out any time soon. Shame too! |

Tried to "order" the kit(s) today, just to see what would happen. As stated above, Mike has only had 7 responses to the kit....needs 12 to break even. If you haven't got on board, let Mike know at alchemymike37@gmail.com. I had contacted him earlier with my intentions at another address I had, so he may not have got it .... hoping some of you did the same!?

I'd love to get one but can not commit due to other commitments. Commitments should be paid as soon as the product becomes available. It would be a long while before I could buy one so it's pointless for me to commit now. Mike is a good guy and I hate to see him end it this way. However, I understand it. Whether it be 7 or 12 committed, it hardly seems worth the work especially if its his business or livelihood. Breaking even doesn't pay the bills and the low numbers are discouraging.

I am kind of optimistic about this kit now.
Looks like it is going to be a go.
But I have an email in to Mike to clarify his statement and to try and get some kind of timeline.
