So....o....oo...with the GOOD news that this project is finally going to happen, I placed my order last week (I hope ya'll got yours in). I'm a little sad that this is the last PS piece Mike will be doing. I really appreciate all he has added to the line. So I'm banking on Steve and Scott for future additions!?! Assuming that Dencomm is a dead issue......

Just got an email from Mike that my kits shipped.
Everything I ordered, except the watering hole.
I assume that is going to go out in the order that orders were received.
And it looks to be quite a few molds to cast the whole thing.

Got a note from Mike that my waterhole is shipping. Anyone else got it yet? Also, Mike said he will take orders on all his PS line until October, then he is going to destroy the molds.....  |

Never got one so it'll be nice to see all painted up when finished. So, if Mike is destroying them, how many molds were purchased from him (if any?)? Anybody here got one, two or more, molds from Mike? Coincidence: I'll be following suit and ending ALL current kits come October as well. I'll make the official anouncement soon. We're just checking molds and seeing what are still good to cast. Stand by.... |

Not castings, you were asking about the molds.
Jeff is hoping to purchase some of the molds for some of the kits he sculpted.
He was talking about it at WF.

I rec'd my kit. WOW, what a beauty!!!! The plants are outstanding. Even has several small reeds coming up from the swamp.
There is a little winged creature clinging to the tree I never noticed in the photos.
I'm so happy I ordered one.
Sad to hear the artist responsible is retiring.

The artist is not retiring.
Jeff is still sculpting all kinds of stuff.
The producer is retiring the molds.
Mike has been casting many of them for several years now, and there isn't a lot of demand.
So, he wants to quit doing the PS stuff and move on to doing more of the other stuff he does.
Like his B-movie monsters and accurate prehistoric creatures.

I do agree that this is a sweet kit and I will miss Mike's contributions to the line. Time to check in with Jeff....

One thing about the Clubhouse is they are not warm towards the PS! You usually get the same 3 guys commenting on a PS post. That's because we are the three smartest guys over there!!  |

The Water Hole is returning to the Alchemy lineup soon. Mike sent me the molds a few weeks ago and I've made the first one to photograph.  |
