So, who here is going to the show this year?
And if you are going, do you want to bring something to add to the display?

Well, what do you want to bring? Pretty much open for anything.
I just packed up the boxes. I am bringing 25 empty boxes this year. Everything except the Trex box as Dave will have that. All the 71 boxes, and their 72 counterparts, as well as the JCPenny box.

My Wife and I will be there; been attending the WF for at least the last 20 yrs; this might be yr 21 or 22; I can't remember back that far any more. I talked with Steve last week about bringing the PS Pachy to the show if its fired by then and thats a big if right now, he thought it would be a good idea to let everyone have a sneak peek. I believe he's already done the base though i might create a couple if time permits but chances are the base wont be there. I sculpted a Walking Dead piece over the winter and wanted to get that painted and in the show too and time is slipping away with only about 4 to 5 weeks left so I'll work on the pachy and try and get that done before doing any walking dead painting. 4 to 5 weeks sounds like a lot of time but its not. With the weather warming up the clay is softening up right when i need to start adding the detail so things are going to go slow from here on. Going to have to get a few cans of spray air now that i'm thinking about it. I really want to get that WD into the contest though since someone at work showed me a preview of the new season 4 boxed set case and its the same scene I sculpted. I guess i wasn't the only one impressed with that scene.

I hear you about time. 4-5 weeks does sound like a lot, but it will fly right by. Especially since I will have to start mowing the grass and such in a few more weeks as well.
I've still got plenty of kits in progress, as well as I all the stuff I am getting together for the display.
I like what I see so far on that kit. The proportions look right for a PS kit.

Hi Trevor, I can bring my completed Cave and Giant Bird again - that's all I have complete right now (several in various stages but not ready). I have a bunch of unpainted kits I could bring and put together to show what they are like in plastic only. Have Cro-mag Man & Woman, Neanderthal Man, Sabretooth Tiger, Cave, Tarpit, Cave Bear and Jungle Swamp. What about that Atlantis conversion for the Bison? Not a PS but still an Aurora what-if. Steve

Well. Rob is bringing his complete double cave, so I don't think we need another built one. But would be cool to have the unpainted cave and cave bear set together. Tiger would be cool too. As well as your finished bird. The other would be cool as well, except we all know how well the humans stand all on their own (like not at all). And the swamp also is hard as the trees don't like to stand. Though I am planning on bringing my sailback reptile, and the tree could be stuck in there.

I will bring the Giant Bird and bring along whatever unpainted kits I have - we can decide what is wanted as needed. Looking forward to it!!! Steve

Cool. Sounds like a fun way to spend Friday night BTW - I'm actually getting in Thursday this year. Just once, I actually want to get a good night's sleep, and enjoy those comfy beds they have there. After all these years, I still haven't had the chance to sleep in past like 8 or 9 AM/ (and that's usually after not going to bed until after 4 AM)

I will be getting there sometime late Friday afternoon - will be leaving in th morning sometime. That's the plan anyway!!! Hopefully I will be able to come on a Thursday next year, I'd like to do one of the classes held on Friday. This is the first year I will actually be staying Sunday night, always had to leave early Sunday to get home for work Monday morning. Don't have to do that this year!!!
