In case anyone was unaware, Alchemy is going to be discontinuing many of their PS kits. Got this email from Mike on the 12th of April "I am making 12 of these...[watering hole kit] if you want it send paypal for $165.00 ( includes shipping ) to alchemymike372gmail.com... delivery approx. 4 - 6 weeks... Also, please note I am dropping most if not all the Prehistoric Scenes kits... so if there is something you want order it now... but check availability first please Mike" So, if you want the watering hole, get your order in. If you have been meaning to get any of the add-ons better pull the trigger now. There was no way I could get everything I wanted, but I whittled it down to maximize quantity/desire. Just sent Mike a pretty big chunk of money.  |

Are those the pics of the kits you're getting or already have gotten?
I don't remember seeing that open mouthed Pteranodon before. Is that a nearly recent sculpt? That would be a cool head to put on your kit bash!

Those are everything I just ordered.
From what I understand, the open mouth was something Mike did a while ago, but never really promoted.
I only knew about it as I saw it in an auction listing one day.
One of those from that guy who seemed to have like every conversion Mike had. And was selling them off a few at a time for several months on ebay.
I was broke, and couldn't bid, but I did snag all the pictures.

Got everything but the swamp last week.
Opened the box and inspected everything Sunday night.
Eventually I will shoot pics of all of them and get them up on the site.
But it will be a while. First will be finishing the pages for my completed build-ups.
Then all the show pictures after WF.
Then, I still need to finish the page for the Raptor OOB.
Then I can do my OOB pages for these (and any others I may score from Mike at the show)

Picked up my watering hole from Mike at the show.
Also grabbed a zuniceratops while I was there.
And lucked into a sweet deal for the brontosaurus that another dealer had.
Pics are probably at least a week away. Almost done with the WF show pics. Still have to do the display pics.

Yeah.
The one that came out the same time as the proto.
Which would make it Mike's first add-on I believe.
(not counting the Steg, which was actually originally a Lunar kit)

Just a heads-up.
I emailed Mike this weekend to find out the status of his kits.
He says he is tossing all the molds at the end of the year.
So, if you want something, better get it.

Well, looks like Mike sped up his timetable.
Just got an email today
"I am discontinuing almost all of the Prehistoric Scenes lines.. the few that are left are on my site"
I looked and there are only like 6 left on his site now.
Only one of them is a conversion set, the one for the spino.
