 At long last, the Gorgo kit is on store shelves. I have to wait just long enough to do a kit review for Youtube and I can start prepping the kit for a build. Yup, they're going for Aurora nostalgia in box shape, box art and lettering. |

I saw a you-tube review showing it in two different boxes and two colours a blue and a green, one box with laser breath one without.

I got the sludge green version. A quick light coat of medium gray and I could actually see the edges of things. Defects in the base parts may be frustrating--things that should have been two piece sections are cut into quarters creating four way duels in alignment. Bad suggested sequences for assembly---
Anyway, the monster figure is much better as far as fit goes. Parts line up and drop into place without force. NOT Monarch's best when you figure the base parts into the equation, but still great for those with Aurora nostalgia.

Finished about two months ago. Gorgo (or Ogra in this case) comes with some minor alignment problems in the base pieces and I noticed the alignment pins in the soles of the feet don't line up with the holes in the base. Both correctable. I wanted Ogra dark as if stepping into floodlights shining up from below. The "highlights" were actually reversed. Monarch should have provided the infant Gorgo to complete the kit. |

i don't know if I'll ever get one or two of these kits but it sure has been fun watching you and others build, paint and show off your accomplishments. Thanks for sharing!
