Because I'm such a lindberg fan and I am happy with the Steg and the Dimetrodon hybrids I have decided this is the next donor kit, an e bay special, that will be transformed in to a new Protoceratops. Open mouth, nodules on the skin, tail hump etc. I already have a picture in my head. Attachments:

I started the base first. I made a palm tree from Sculpy. I formed the trunk core out of foil and wrapped it in pretextured Sculpy using a rotary tool. I made the fronds with a knife and draped them over a curved metal tray when I baked them to get a nice cirved. Attachments:

I think I might stop my update around 1986 ish, then I can add all the interesting detail and leave out those pesky tail spine filaments. I'm going to take the PS add on as my guide. I once tried adding feathers to a Lindberg raptor which ended up looking like a cross between a bee-hive hair do and a moth eaten fur coat. Thus I am aware of my limitations! LOL
