With all the inspiring talent on this forum, it has prompted me to start learning to cast and mold. I have cast the Jungle Swamp Pool and the rocks off the Dimetrodon base that holds the Large Tree from the J/S. Now you can place that tree anywhere without worry that it'll topple over.... The pool goes for 12 bucks plus shipping and the rock goes for 2 dollars + shipping. The first pic is the cast the second is the cast painted and the third you see the cast next the the Moschops and the large tree with the rock cast. If your interested, please contact me here. Hey, picked mine up today at the PO and I want to thank you for the fine job on these casts! I'm awaiting my Alchemy Jungle Swamp 2 to start laying out my options........like I stated before (maybe?), I want to see how to use different lay-outs utilizing the Moschops/ Scutosaurus/ Plateosaurus/ Iguanodon/ and the original pieces to see how they all work together. Also received some nice Safari prehistoric plants today, so I'm starting to see it all come together......
Scott...where are you when I need your input?

I just saw the tree base on ebay. I'm always interested in new bases.
One of my complaints is too many sculpters not communicating with other sculpters to make sure the kits fit together.
You rec'd your Swamp 2? How does it look?
I can't wait until I get mine.

I HAVEN'T received my JS2 yet...I got psgreat's cast of JS1 base and a rock base that he developed to hold some of the large trees from the JS1 kit. And they are really good. Don't fret, I haven't got my JS2 from Mike (Alchemy), but he ALWAYS comes thru....and it's worth the wait!

Hi, I am guessing that PSGreat is fizzytweety on ebay, at least I hope you are because I just picked up the large tree stand/rocks casting and It is very well done. I am new to the forum but have been a follower of the site for years and I have even sent in some catalog scans for the site that are posted, but I usually sit back and lurk. But I was pleasantly suprised when I opened the package and found such nice castings that I had to post and let everyone interested know. I plan on picking up the sabertooth base in the future. Great job and keep casting those missing/hard to find parts. Thanks.

Perhaps one of us should start a thread with a list of what casts are available? Where they can be obtained and how much?
I've had three bases from Fizzy/psgreat, all three superb quality. I'm also interested in buying or at least seeing anyone else's short run castings that might enhance my displays.

Just gotta say that Mark (psgreat) has some very interesting and fantastic ideas concerning the PS add-ons. I received a couple of items, and though a couple of them haven't been announced yet, are pretty darn COOL!!! I don't want to spoil his surprise but one of his "inventions" will find its way onto the AROARA Neanderthal Woman base in the near future.  |
