Another one of my long-standing questions. Did Aurora ever have any plans to produce a Neanderthal Woman kit? When I was a kid I always wondered why there was a Cro-Magnon couple but Neanderthal Man was a bachelor. I can imagine what it might have looked like and it isn't pretty. Maybe Aurora thought it would be too unappealing.

I agree that there should have been a woman for the man but why it wasn't considered or even mentioned, I can't say. Trevor might have an sight for that. There are several people that are or have attempted to make a companion for the neanderthal including the SCENERS group currently. It is a project that has been in production for a couple of years now. Eventually it will be offered for the man by AroarA as a add-on kit. Another thought and possibly a future kit was a Cro-Magnon "Other" woman. She is to resemble Rachel Welch from 100 million years BC.

If a new Cro-Magnon Woman is ever produced, the original version might need a new, alternate arm designed to hold a club so she can whack Cro-Magnon Man over the head to keep him from getting any ideas.

Does this not mean we would need a Cro-magnon Lawyer (Solicitor UK). He could be loaded and have a Cadillac built like Fred Flinstones car. I bet the women gets to keep the cave!

Yes, but she would also get custody of unfortunate Uncle Neanderthal.

Not sure why it wasn't considered for the initial run. But with the poor sales, I can understand why it was never a consideration for any of the other waves of kits.

Aurora should have paired a human figure with a large animal in one kit. (A Neanderthal woman throwing a rock at a giant sloth, for example.) A kit like this would have been more popular than the human figures by themselves.

Were all the cave people slow sellers?
