Who remembers the last time they saw any PS kits in a hobby or toy store being sold for original retail prices, not secondary market prices? Whenever my parents and I went on vacation, I would always check out the local hobby shops. Some small stores had a few kits on the shelves as late as 1985 or so. Usually these were Cro-Magnons or Neanderthals. I know these kits were not popular, but I'm still surprised that they sat on the shelves for that long.
