Sadly I'm working about 2000 miles away so I won't be at Wonderfest though its on my bucket list. Mark, Prehistorix partner in crime, Kreiss is going and hes taking some of our kits with him to sell.
If you are going and you fancy a whooley Rhino calf, Baby Mammoth in peril, Baryonyx, Coelacanth, Glowing campfire, pyro bases for your Ankylosaur, Corythosaur or Protoceratops then you'll find all this and more.
So whats the more? Well you know we never disappoint and we always say our next kit is the best we've ever done, which it always is......so the 'more' is a special kit produced in conjunction with none other than the amazing dinosaurs modelers' magazine 'Prehistoric Times'. It'll have both our logos on the box and will first be available in a strictly limited form at Wonderfest itself. Like the Baryonyx, Mark probably won't have enough to fill demand so get to the stall early with a bill fold of USA's finest dollars and you can have one. Have what? Well I cant tell you because Mark wont let me. If you are thinking what can be better than the Baryonyx, well wait and see......

I'll be there; just signed up for the Friday dragon sculpting class using Monster clay. I bought 40 lbs of it more than a year ago and need to learn how to use it, plus I don't think there is a lot of difference between sculpting a dino and sculpting a dragon. Anyone else thinking about taking it I talked to Tarry at AFM tonight and there are a few spots left; he said a lot of people sent in money but didn't specify what class they wanted so get with him quick if you want to get in, it should be a blast and it stretches Wonderfest out to 3 days which is great. I'll bring the last 6 or 7 copies of the Aroura Pachy with me but I don't have any place to put them so anyone wanting one will have to look me up; I'll bring the last few copies of the swamp trees also. Tay I'll have copies of the Pachy instructions for you as well; I'll be looking for you. I will be looking for the armored dino base and the allow base too, not the wired one though, just the plain casting if you can bring them too. I'll be looking for you at Mikes table.

Hi Jeff, I've passed this on to Mark. He doesn't always get on to the boards he's too busy casting. I'm sure he has a base or two knocking about to bring with him.
I'm jealous as hell though and the sculpting classes sound brilliant!

I think you will enjoy the sculpting class. AFM does a great job with stuff like that. I did the painting class last year, and I know the folks in the sculpting class had a blast. (think last year was a werewolf bust)
And I'll be looking for you. Not sure how much I'm gonna have to spend this year, but I know I want trees. Will have to wait until after a couple passes through the dealers room though before I decide if I can buy another pachy.
Oh, and I'll be coming in on Thursday. Even though I am not doing any classes on Friday, it's just so much nicer to come in a day early and get a chance to relax before things kick off.

Well preparations are well under way for WonderFest.
I've finished the full colour bonus comic for the secret kit and the box art which unusually for us will feature a photograph of the finished sculpt. There will be about 20 of them available at Fest and few afterwards on E bay.
I am also finishing the instructions for the secret kit. They will be a big format A3 booklet single fold in the middle. But they are so interesting and the kit is so cool you can stare at them all day in anticipation of putting together the real thing.
Mark is finishing the kit!

I've just finished the whole of the two page A3 folded instruction booklet for the WonderFest kit. Yep its finished and the kit needs seven stages before its completed and it has at least a dozen pieces. That's all I can tell you but the box art is waiting for a photo of the finished kit which will on;y be a few days. The new tiger mould is on its way too, with the bits on Marks bench as we speak.

Ok the news is that the Wonderfest kit is cast, bagged and ready to be boxed. The A3 folded instructions are copied, as is the A3 folded full colour bonus comic. The Box art features a full colour photograph of the actual painted kit a bit like the Revell kits but with Aurora colouring. I've put a file of it all on Pinterest, but I've not released it yet. I'll post when I do so anyone not at fest can see the glory of our most PS of PS kits ever. Countdown to Fest is countdown to release, so keep your eyes on the site! For those who don't know it yet the address is below prehistorix.wix.com/prehistorix

Just got the pics from Mark of the Wonderfest kit in its full colour box, with its dozen parts, with its full instructions and colour comic. Only a couple of days before release now. If you aren't going to Wonderfest keep your eyes peeled on here, on Pinterest and on the website for the new kit. Wow!

The new kit is the T Rex Nest as seen at wonderfest. Sniffing the Paleozoic air, the lizard darts this way and that. Flicking out it’s forked tongue he comes upon a great prize… a nest filled with delicious eggs! About to break into a smorgasbord of egg delight, he is snatched by the tail and swung upward by a Baby Tyrannosaurus Rex. Struggling, his foreleg is grabbed by another Baby. A Primordial tug of war begins. Who will win….? We already know who lost. P/S Great Prehistorix in conjunction with the “Prehistoric Times” Magazine proudly presents to you the “T-Rex Nest!” This resin kit will bring hours of fun and enjoyment as you build and proudly display it alongside the mother of all dinosaur kits: The Aurora Tyrannosaurus Rex! Kit includes: Standing Baby Rex body, 2 legs, tail and head. Sitting Baby Rex body and head, Hatching Egg. Lizard Prey with arm and tail parts. Medium Tree Fern and detailed base for fun and excitement! Kit is $120.00 and can be purchased at our website ( www.prehistorix.wix.com/prehistorix ) or PM me here. PLEASE NOTE: The many castings for Wonderfest have destroyed the base mold. It is not up on ebay as we speak. I will have to retool when I get back hence, it may take a couple of weeks to fill your order. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Check out the site!

Use whatever photos you want. And no credit necessary.
It was great seeing all those pieces built up and all together like that.

If anybody still wants a T Rex Nest then its time to get it or regret it. The moulds are quite chunky but the kit is big and they are too expensive to replace once they are worn out. So if you were waiting for the next lot I'm afraid we are going to disappoint you. We decided this will be the one and only pour that Mark will be doing. Contact Mark directly or through the site as usual.
