Knowing that both are Aurora and 1/13 scale, I'm curious to find out if anyone has incorporated the Moster Scenes and the Prehistoric Scenes into a small or large diorama? I've played with the idea of adding a few kits from the PS group into MS group to expand the "scene" and add more diversity to the monster world. The Cro Magnon Man and Woman have found their way into a few peoples dioramas with a little putty and imagination. Any others?

Interesting idea.
I bet you couild take either one of the cromags and wrap them in some scale bandages to make a mummy.
Also, with some heavy customization, you could probably turn the flying reptile into a giant bat.
Other than that, I'm not sure what you could take from the PS line to the MS line.

This weekend I thought of maybe taking a "vacant" TarPit and turning that into the Black Lagoon?! Cut the MOM Creech in half (Like Rick did...) and place him in the middle somewhere. The Vulture would also be another great addition. I am going to use the Giant Vulture from the PL Customizing Kit and turn that into Dr' D's Pet!!!  |

The Tar Pit is not a complete set and I'm not planning to destroy it by kit bashing it. Someday I'll get parts to complete it but until then I figured it's a great Black Lagoon!  |

Talking with Rob about this. How about Vicki (the Victim) hiding inside the CAVE to escape the Giant Insect? The floor could be scattered with bones from previous Victims! Where does she go now??? ;D  |

I'm working on the TAR PIT turned BLACK LAGOON right now. (No pics yet.) This TAR PIT is mostly complete. It's just missing the meat chunk and one of the vultures wings.
The one thing cool about the Cave and Tar Pit is not only do the two fit together but the PS Yith (sculpted by Rob Mattison) can be the link to tie in to the MS by connecting to the Hanging Cage base!

Very cool use of the the Creature and the Tar Pit Steve!
The Yith kit I did fits both the PS and MS collections, it attaches to the Tar Pit and the back of the Hanging cage and since it's a time traveler it works for me.

You kow, with the Neanderthal Man, the new Sauropod and the soon-to-be reissued Trex, you'd have the main cast from the movie DINOSAURUS!
All you need is a steam shovel and you're all set!

I am toying with the idea of combining the Cro Man torso with the pants off of one of the Monarch (MS) drac/jekyll combo pack. I have an extra set of legs that could be nice. Just might have to "beat him up a bit" to make him look like he has had it pretty rough. I think Mark McGovern did something like that in a dio he did. I can't seem to locate the pics though. Anyway, I hear that there was a Hero for the MS and that Dencomm might be doing a Hero kit. I wanna do one of my own just for fun!

I saw a Cro-Mag man with his spear fending off the Aurora Giant Snake from Land of the Giants on eBay in the last week. I'll see if I can find a pic of it (I think I saved the pics). It looks like they were mounted on a Cave floor base.

I'm glad it is in the gallery - I couldn't find it in my photos. I guess I didn't save it when I saw it on eBay. Lot of possibilities with Aurora's Customizing kits - The Mad Dog and the big spider could be used in a diorama setting with the PS figures.
