Here is another pic of the Huge Sauropod that Alchemy is offering. I believe that is Chris Lynch (the sculptor) displaying his creation for all to see. Mike asked me to post this pic. So, here we go...

Any word on it's release date? I've prepaid for one and am beyond excited to get it. I'm getting nervous something has gone wrong with the casting. Any updates?

I haven't heard anything. But I am sure if you contact Mike he can fill you in. IMHO you have nothing to be nervous about. Mike's a great guy and you will get what you paid for.

My intended paint scheme is to copy the colors from Zallingers work. I had as a kid, Willy Leys book, 'Worlds of the past'. It features many of Zallingers work. I really love the blue hues with the yellowish/gold underbelly.

Any update on the release of Mike's Sauropod? Last I heard he was having a devil of a time casting these things up because of their size. He will still get these out to any who previously committed to buying one. He'll also has stated he'll have one at WF this year...painted!

Yeah, I saw this and wondered about the price, being so much lower...........
I would like a second kit to be able to do both versions, but I'm waiting for a.) funds/ b.) Mike had said he was working with Chris on a straight neck & tail (some months back).
Haven't tried it yet, but was also going to check the proportions against the Brontosaurus kit to see if this might be an (cheaper) alternative to using the camarasaurus head........... My gut feel is it's going to be way to off-scale..........

I think it would be sooo cool to have this giant sauropod but I much rather have the Bronto in the Pond. That one looks more like the "series" than the Huge Behemoth. Would still love to see a build up of the Big Boy as soon as one is done!!!!

Are there any pictures of a built up version of this Bronto? It's pretty amazing that it exists, even though I don't really like the sculpt (maybe that would change if I saw it altogether).

Was checking their site today just for the heck of it. He has that listed. $750 Limited to 15 castings. thealchemyworks.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_23&products_id=144
