Coming from Primeval Plastics, another Retro What if kit: The Neanderthal Woman! Now the PS Neanderthal Man has someone to come home to. Sculpted by "Molemento" Pete, creator of the Monster Scenes Limited "Invisible Man" and "Bride of Dracula" and the MOTM "Bride of Kong", this kit has been long over due. Watch for her appearance coming soon to a Cave near you!

Well when I found out that the one being sculpted was no longer an interest to the sculptor, it was time to find someone who would be. Pete basically contacted me and we began discussion about her. I've seen one pic of the nean Woman being done but we are not copying it and we're taking it in a little different direction.

Definitely interested in the Neanderthal Woman as well. Although the "people" kits by Aurora may not have been as well done as the others, I think they add a lot to any "prehistoric scene" since they interact so well with the creatures.
Although obviously the kits are designed to lock bases together, the entire ensemble is so busy and doesn't look like a coherent scene, so I find combining just a few of the kits together to be more interesting, and usually the "people" are good additions to create an action scene - i.e. with the cave bear, or sabertooth, or giant bird, or fending off the Allosaurus with spears (or by throwing rocks from the top of the cave like the concept art shows), or hunting the Mammoth, being plucked by the Flying Reptile, wandering through the swamp, etc.
Is the list of potential upcoming kits at primevalplastics still accurate (http://primevalplastics.com/ichth.html) or have things moved in more opportunistic directions? I'd really love to see Swamp Kit 2, since I love the diorama elements of the series.

I've been telling Steve for a while that a 2nd swamp base would be cool. Not one to replace the existing one, but to go beside it and help hold all the pieces of the original. I think that would be a very cool addition to the line.

She's lovely - love the single eye-brow on a female for once!
As always, my added 2-cent's for a base proposal. Might you consider a "camp" or small cave for the happy couple. It appears most of use the Cave for the Cro-magnons...........

Not sure what Molemento Pete has in mind for the base? mostly he's focussed on the figure right now. base will be an afterthought.

Just trying to keep it "family friendly" I suppose!

As I e-mailed Steve before, already too much resemblance to my mother-in-law - bare breasts would be too over the top for me in that regard, and I really want to stay complete on this collection. Also, I remember Trevor's post on his website of the proposed Cromagnon Women with the DD-cup and showing a little too much thigh........ nice proposal, but a little too risque, especially for the '70's (Ages 9 and up). All for the family friendly.
Really need that primitive feel? Buy the kit, stick the head on an anime figurine kit, like Kanu Uncho....fur it up a bit, though..................
Oh, how far out on excepting pre-orders. getting a little pushy, aren't I?
I always have ideas, just not the best ideas.............

Agreed! Gotta make it family friendly! Even though we're Adults, these were kits targeted to the young and i don't think big bare breasted babes were part of the plan. Oh! Since this is a Molemento piece, I have no info as to when these will be released or for how much?! As soon as I hear, you'll be notified!

Now, an updated pic. Pete said she has to take a backseat right now. He has a few other projects that are taking priority. (Invisible Man and the Scream Queen to name two!)

Slight bummer on the back seat. But at least it is still ongoing. Glad to hear the other two are in the works though.
