Pete's still working on this baby. No pics yet but she's finally getting her arms. Looks like yours truly might/will be doing the base for her. For the past few days I've been working on ideas for the base and putting it down in clay. It's been fun doing this. Been more fun than painting or building a kit I have to admit. ;D

Hell's bells! I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since this was announced. All I can say is that she is still in progress. I have sculpted a base for her and a few extras to go with it. Won't show pics yet until the base is completed. it is 95% complete right now. Also, "we" are currently try to acquire a second sculpt of a Neandethal Woman. This would be 2 great but different sculpts!!!! Here's to hoping.

Cool.
And don't worry about the time lag. Look how long it takes Monarch to get kits out.

I don't think that these processes can be compared. 4 years is a long time for one small GK figure kit. It is what it is though.

Yes but look at the pride and the joy and the anticipation of it all. Its certainly not the anticipation of the dollars and pounds that inspire anyone to do it. By the looks of the pics on the previous page its going to be pretty special when she's cast.

Yeah Steve - don't let it bother you - we all have life that gets in the way of our hobby. There is enough stuff out there to keep us busy. We all know the quality of your stuff - it's worth the wait!!!! Steve

Sorry guys if I came across upset or bothered. Just merely pointing out the obvious I suppose. I am excited for Her to be done and ready. I want her to be ready when she's ready. Pete has a lot on his plate and he's trying to do what he can do when he can. I just do "this and that" to "nudge" him a little bit more! All in good fun. In the meantime, I'm playing and sculpting some ideas and stuff for possible future kits as well. So, I'm not in a real hurry.....currently!

You can always send Uncle Bruno to have a little "Talk" with him..... just sayin'.... :} I know what you mean though. This weather has put me slightly behind on sending out the Mesozoic Hunting Ground. The Fed Ex guy couldn't make it up the road and I didn't get the boxes until yesterday.... Then I ran out of labels to put on the boxes. I thank all you good folks who ordered one for their patience. It frustrating as I want to, not only have a good product, but great customer service too.......

Good news for our Prehistorix customers is that new colour labels are on the way! Mark has been under the snow for days, but this has given him time to cut out every single label from the sheets by hand, and hand glue them to the boxes! Luckily the new lot are on their way first class post and they are self adhesive so no more glue for Mark. Luckily we don't have much snow over here in comparison so I can get to the post office. Its weird having only seen the kit in photos though as the customers come first and I can wait for my own copy. My problem was when I ordered the stickey labels the postman couldn't get them through the letter box and ended up leaving them behind a planter. Then it rrained, it always does here and the parcel turned to mush! But it will be worth the short wait! Theres more cool stuff iun the pipe line.

Sadly, I haven't heard a peep. There has been no communication for awhile now concerning her progress. For now, I'd say it's a long way off or not going to happen if I get no response soon. Fingers crossed!

SO here is the latest news...The Neanderthal Woman sculpt that Molemento Pete has started is now going to be in the capable hands of Mark Kreiss to finish. Pete isn't able to finish her. So instead of scrapping it, she will continue to develop into a beauty of a kit. Stay tuned for more info as she continues to progress.

Mark has a few other projects ahead of her that are a first priority but he is itching to get to her soon.
