Okay, I have a little bit of a dilemma so I'm starting a new poll thread.
The Dire Wolf is near completion.
Set #1 will be the first to be offered up.
Set #1 includes: ($85 with S/H in USA)
* Body
* 4 Legs
* “Growling” Head
* “Straight” Tail
* Nameplate
* Retro Instruction Sheet
* Base
Only if Set #1 sells enough, Set #2 will be released.
Set #2 includes: * ($60 with S/H in USA)
* Body
* 4 (Different) Legs
* “Howling” Head
* “S” Shape Tail
* Nameplate
* Retro Instruction Sheet
Now, I need your vote to see if Set #2 “Should” or “Should Not” come with a base.
* If Set #2 has a base, both Sets will be the same price!

My thought would be to have several different options.
To start, yo could offer set 1 with - or without base.
Then if enough sell, and you produce the other version.
Then you could offer.
Wolf 1 (w or w/out base)
Wolf 2 (w or w/out base)
Both wolves with one base.
One wolf with both sets of head/legs/tail and one base (just like a real Aurora kit)

Being a base freak, it would be nice to see a base that "filled the gap" on the "north" side of the tarpit, "east" of the sabertooth (w/ additional base) in place of the "spotty" neanderthal.
Any way, count me in on both dire wolf options.

This is time sensative and I need to make a final decision by next week, if all works out according to plan. i want as much info from everyone as possible. i know it won't please everyone but the majority will decide.
I don't cast these kits and special ordering pieces is not an option.
Trevor, I like that thought about the "Aurora option" and believe me, I did think of that and that's another option. I just don't know if everyone wants "extra" parts lying about. that's one of the reasons this makes it so hard to decide. I'll definitely weigh that as an option though.
Looks like so far most of the voters are "base" geeks. This is coming from all sources (3 of 5) I've posted the poll.
12 votes for Set #2 with BASE
8 votes for Set #2 without BASE
1 vote for 3 different Sets
2 votes for 1 base, 1 wolf, All extra parts
1 vote for 2 wolves, 1 base
2 Undecided or "don't care either way"
